The planet Vulcan is a dry, mostly desert world inhabited, logically, by Vulcans. Vulcan is a charter member of the United Federation of Planets, and has sent many of its citizens including Spock and the members of Vulcan's SVU to Earth to help guide our planet's development.

Vulcans long ago gave up the emotional, intuitive and unreasonable ways of humans. Instead, Vulcans use cold logic and unwithering reason to govern their planet...
