Virginia

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Virginia is the oldest state in South America, dating back to before the airing of the popular mini-series, An American Revolution. Virginia remained a quiet backwater for many years, full of small towns, beautiful plantations and serene hillsides. This all changed in 1965 when President Lyndon LaRouche placed The Pentagon, America's largest military base, right in the middle of Virginia's capital, Virginia City. Supposedly, The Pentagon was designed to be one of the main sets for LaRouche's epic series Vietnam War. However, Virginians believed (and still believe) that the base was put there mainly to stir up trouble.

Today, Virginia is in a state of transition, with the eastern part embracing the new technology of 2006 and the western part choosing to remain traditional. The breakaway republic of West Virginia, while not recognized by most of America, is an example of the extreme contrasts in Virginia at present.
