The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is the shortest running anime ever produced in the history of Japanese television. With only one episode ever made, and that one being only 50 seconds long, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya isn't even long enough to fill in a commercial break on a typical American network, which is why the show's rights were quickly awarded to YouTube.
