The L Word, a dramatic series currently airing on Showtime, is proof that television is indeed ready for a series that portrays the lives of lesbians with frankness, dignity, and unblinking insight.

Provided, of course, that those lesbians are hot. And frequently naked. And having sex with one another, often. I mean, come on, you gotta have a little something for the guys, am I right?
