The Cleveland Show
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
The Cleveland Show is an animated show currently in development by Fox, scheduled to air sometime in Spring 2009. Set in the backwoods of West Virginia, The Cleveland Show features former Cleveland resident Cleveland Brown and his family, who are forced to flee the city and head for the hills as a result of the devastating Northern Cities Vowel Shift. Forced to live on his wits alone, Cleveland may be no match for the pack of wild bears constantly chasing him.

Copyright Infringement Lawsuits
The Cleveland Show has been the subject of numerous lawsuits claiming that they stole their ideas entirely from other shows. Notable among these are:
- Grizzly Adams and Man vs Wild claims that The Cleveland Show swiped the "wandering aimlessly in the wild" idea from them.
- The Drew Carey Show claims that it is the only show legally allowed to represent the city of Cleveland.
- Monday Night Football claims that the character name "Cleveland Brown" was derived from an NFL team that was once located in that city.
- Family Guy claims that The Cleveland Show is actually a sequel to their show and should thus be airing on Adult Swim.
