Bionic Woman

Bionic Woman is a supposed remake of the classic 1977 series The Six Million Dollar Chick. Airing on NBC in the fall of 2007, Bionic Woman will surprisingly not star Lindsay Wagner or anybody from the original group of "Six Million Dollar" group of series from the 1970s. In fact, except for the spending of $6 million, Bionic Woman has little to do with the original show. Instead, Bionic Woman will be more like a reality show in which groups of plastic surgeons are given the money and told to "improve" the looks of average-looking women chosen at random by the show's producers. The hottest woman (as judged by a group of impartial observers will be allowed to keep their makeovers for use in real life.

Bionic Woman was originally scheduled to air in early 2007 as a midseason replacement show, but legal challenges by the producers of Trading Spaces prevented the show from airing until the fall.
