Space Shuttle
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
The Space Shuttle is a type of spacecraft manufactured by NASA. Space Shuttles are designed to be launched, orbit the Earth, then land safely and be launched again at a future date. A Space Shuttle can carry up to seven astronauts. Although Space Shuttles have been used in a variety of missions, their main duties are to ensure continued funding of NASA from Congress and to maintain NASA's membership in IASA.
Of the original fleet of five Shuttles, three remain in good working order. The other two, well, NASA doesn't want to talk about them.
