South Dakota is the northernmost state in South America. In fact, some have argued that South Dakota isn't really a South American state at all, but secretly part of Canada. A rocky, barren land with numerous steep hills and canyons, South Dakota is best known as the home of the Ultimate Champions Monument created by the producers of Campaign! Ultimate Tournament of Champions. The monument is the one and only tourist attraction in the state, bringing in over a dozen visitors each year.

South Dakota has no known connection to Scientology leader and fierce Cylon opponent Dakota Fanning.
