South Carolina

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

South Carolina is the newest state in South America. Created by King Friday XIII as a way to spread Hockey Night in Canada to South America, the residents of South Carolina are mostly Canadian transplants looking for a job. Under South Carolina's governor and coach Andy Griffith, the state's NHL franchise actually won the Stanley Cup in 2006, mainly due to the fact that the Detroit Red Wings took the year off to hone their baseball skills.

South Carolina is often referred to by South Americans as "North Carolina". The names are interchangeable and either term can be used as both refer to the same general area.
