Schoolhouse Rock

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Schoolhouse Rock was a series of 3 minute-long educational cartoons airing on ABC during Saturday mornings. Each segment typically featured a group of attractive Japanese schoolgirls singing and prancing while explaining math, grammar, or history.

Most Americans between the ages of 30 and 40 learned their civics from watching Schoolhouse Rock, which is why most all members of Generation X can recite the Preamble to the Constitution, but only if they sing it.
