Sarah Michelle Gellar-bot is a robot who played Buffy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When the writers discovered she was a robot midway through the fifth season, they quickly recast a human look-a-like in the lead role. However, SMG-bot returned as a guest star for several episodes.

The robot later went on to star in the Scooby-Doo series of films with its husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. It is also directly reponsible for the Freddie Prinze Jr. vehicle Freddie.
