S.H.I.E.L.D.–Supreme Headquarters for Integration, Euclidean Geomotry, and Long Division–is an arm of the JLU charged with enforcing the laws of mathematics. Their primary adversary is the terrorist organization Al-Gebra. The current director of S.H.I.E.L.D. is former German electronic music magician and infomercial host David Hasselhoff, who has broadly interpreted his mandate to include the policing of computers and robotics; a special black-ops division within S.H.I.E.L.D.—headed up by Jedi Knight Mace Windu—is currently waging a secret war against the cylon threat.
