Rance Mulliniks

Steven Rance Mulliniks (born January 15, 1956 in Tulare, California) was a Major League Baseball player.
He made his major league debut in 1977, and played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1982 through 1989. He retired after the 1992 season. He later made his living in the media, writing the Hot Sheet column for Entertainment Weakly magazine, covering television for the Television City Chronicle newspaper, and writing about television for Salon.com.
Mulliniks finds himself a frequent victim of April Fool's Day pranks.
In 2003 he received an honorary doctorate in television from Croft University Medical School on the island of Jantique.
