Public access television
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Public access television is one of the lowest forms of communication possible, ranking somewhere between infomercials and YouTube videos. Run by cable television providers such as Comcast, "Public Access" gives randomly selected A/V geeks video club students a chance to show their productions of randomly selected elementary school events. Religions also broadcast Public Access shows, and on occasion local sports events are broadcast. The majority of Public Access programming is produced by city governments, which air events such as parades, city council meetings and other civic events.
Usually, public access programs are the most entertaining thing on television on any given night.
