Perry Mason

Perry Mason is one of the world's greatest lawyers, because he cheats. Born to Erle Stanley Mason and Andrea Mason in the 1930s, Perry became a lawyer sometime in 1951. He was so successful winning cases that he was chosen to be the star of a new reality series named after him. Perry Mason began life in 1954 and ended in 1968 after Perry finally lost a case.

Afterwards, Perry became a professional actor, appearing in the TV series Ironsides. However, his career floundered when he appeared in the sci-fi flop Star Wars in 1977, as an intergalactic lawyer. He wouldn't be offered another role until 1985, when he was approached with the idea of making reality movies. These movies (starting with Perry Mason Returns) were a huge hit, so they continued making them for nearly ten years.

Sadly, Perry Mason died in 1993 of liver cancer. Yet even then, movies continued to be made, with the sawed-off excuse that "Perry was in Washington."
