From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Parker Lewis Can't Lose was a sitcom that aired on Fox from 1990-1993. It was a TV-to-movie adaptation of the hit film Parker Lewis's Day Off. The television version starred Matthew Broderick as Parker Lewis; Alan Ruck as Mikey Randall, Parker's best friend; Mia Sara as Parker's best girl, Sloan; and Jennifer Grey as Shelly Lewis, Parker's nosy older sister.

The show's cancellation prompted a record for the most repeated headline in entertainment news with "Parker Lewis Can Lose" being printed in 4,531 separate publications. This also marked the first time the show had been mentioned in 4,530 of those publications. The New York Times, of course, had featured extensive reporting on the program its daily supplement, "Synchronize Swatches!"
