OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network is a new cable television network scheduled to premiere in 2009. Born from the remnants of the Discovery Health Channel, OWN seeks to take the teachings of Oprah Winfrey and broadcast them across that portion of the Earth not already covered by Oprah's own show.
