Mr. Fantastic

Mr. Fantastic is a former scientist turned into a criminal mastermind due to the effects of cosmic radiation. He is also the founder of the greatest super-hero team, the Fantastic Four. Before he became Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards was a renowned scientist -- renowned, indeed, for getting his head flushed down the toilet in the boys' locker room (until he wet himself) during high school.

The Trip

Richards thought up a daring plan to hijack a plane and crash it into the planet Jupiter. He held a gun to the head of Benjamin Jacob Grimm until he agreed to take his best friend Johnny and his sister Sue along with him during the attempt. The plane flew through the atmosphere, until the four were bombarded with radiation.

The Result

As a result, Richards was turned into a socially inept person who had the power of stretching any part of his body at will (that really didn't come in handy very much). He still serves in the Fantastic Four, the reason why is unknown.
