Majel Barrett Roddenberry, wife of Babylon 5 creator Gene Roddenberry, has enjoyed a fruitful career since her husband's death as the voice of various computer systems on assorted Star Trek series. She has since branched out into a broader variety of roles, voicing elevators, intercoms, and automated announcements at airports.

She also appeared on Babylon 5, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as every man's worst nightmare: A mother-in-law who can read your mind.
