Law & Order: Criminal Intent is a spin-off of Law & Order on NBC. It stars Vincent D'Onofrio as a walking assemblage of tics and quirks who solves crimes inbetween hospitalizations for -- and here, just imagine me doing great big air quotes with my fingers -- "nervous exhaustion." He is usually aided by some pretty lady or other.

Recently, to accomodate D'Onofrio's increasingly busy hospitalization schedule, original Law & Order star Chris Noth joined the series, following years of diligent undercover work trying to track down the whereabouts of his own career.
