Kath & Kim is a sitcom airing on NBC starting in Fall 2008. Kath & Kim is a sequel to the popular 1990s Nickelodeon show Kenan & Kel.

Plot

Set in Florida, Kath & Kim looks at the lives of the titular stars 10 years after the end of Kenan & Kel. Accused of starting the writers strike, the two pretend to be mother and daughter in Miami to escape from the FBI.

Co-Stars

Also starring in Kath & Kim are Coolio as an electronics store employee with the hots for "Kim", Molly Shannon as a sympathetic neighbor, Shaquille O'Neal as a suspicious FBI agent, and Selma Blair as O'Neal's skeptical partner.

Australian Popularity

During the writers strike, several fake Kath & Kim episodes were written by slash fiction authors. Some of these were actually filmed and then aired on Australian television. The pirate episodes proved popular, as Kath & Kim became the 3rd highest rated show Down Under.
