Hooperman

Hooperman was an unclever, unfunny, and unnecessary Superman rip-off starring John Ritter. Ritter played Buddy Zor-Ell, an coneheaded alien from the planet Remulak who lands on Earth and is renamed "Harry Hooperman" by Chuck Barris.

When trouble called, Harry would run out of the Daily Orbit newspaper building (where he worked) and go into a nearby ladies' room, where he would then transform into "the greatest American hero EVER," Hooperman.

The show lasted only 15 minutes before being cancelled.
