Hidden Palms

Hidden Palms, which is not a sequel to The O.C., is a new dramatic series scheduled to begin airing on CW in the summer of 2007. Created by Kevin Williamson, the creator of Dawson's Creek (which had absolutely nothing to do with The O.C.), Hidden Palms dramatizes the lives of several teenagers living in Palm Springs, which is located in Riverside County (and not in Orange County), California.

Casting
Hidden Palms features several actors and actresses who used to star in The O.C., but who are no longer on that show since, of course, Fox cancelled it. Hidden Palms also features several actors and actresses who were never on The O.C., even as extras.

Production Notes
- Hidden Palms is scheduled to replace Chicago Cubs baseball on WGN, which was put on hiatus due to low ratings and numerous injuries to the pitching staff.
- Contrary to media reports, Hidden Palms is not to be considered as "Part 2" of The O.C.
