Hell's Kitchen

A spin-off of the popular Food Network show Emeril Live, Hell's Kitchen features a different celebrity chef each week. At the beginning of each episode, the chef undergoes a medical procedure in which his or her heart is stopped and they become technically dead. The spirit of the chef decends to Hell, where a five course meal must be prepared for Satan using a secret ingredient. If the chef can complete the meal in 60 Minutes, the chef's spirit is returned to his or her body (which has been kept frozen in an industrial freezer in a state of suspended animation). Those chefs who cannot complete the task in the time alloted must choose between being damned for all eternity, or watching endless reruns of The 700 Club until their eyes literally bleed.
