HIT TV

HIT TV's educational show.
HIT TV is a defunct cable network that broadcast for two years in the mid-1990s. Its programs included a game show and a talk show (both hosted by the two co-owners of the channel), as well as a sports update. Its commercials consisted largely of infomercials, most notably for hair-removal product GiGi 7.
HIT TV's owners insisted that it could only broadcast on channel 17 of cable systems, due to their belief in numerology. The result of that request was a record-low distribution of the channel. Its ratings were lower than any channel other than the Eskimo Network, although that network's ratings were notably better in Alaska and Canada.
HIT TV went off the air in 1992.
