Freddie resulted when, in the summer of 2005, the Sarah Michelle Gellar-bot infiltrated the corporate offices of ABC and forced the executives to create a sitcom for its husband, Freddie Prinze Jr. The executives relented, but decided to make a program that was so awful and unfunny that even the Sarah Michelle Gellar-bot would agree that television would be better off without it. They succeeded in the first part of their goal, but the Sarah Michelle Gellar-bot remained unconvinced. Eventually Steve Jobs sent in a crack team of Disney Commandoes to free the executives and Freddie was finally pulled from the air.
