One of the rules of television is that all shows, no matter how popular, must someday come to an end. In some cases, this occurs very early, but some shows are lucky enough to stick around for many seasons after their debut (sometimes even after all semblance of a plotline have vanished).

When it's time for a long-lasting show to end, the producers usually come up with a Final Episode, an episode that wraps up all the loose ends and storylines of the previous seasons and brings the program to a logical and satisfying conclusion. Unless it doesn't...
