Felicity Huffman (born Felix Huffman on Dec. 9, 1962) is the most prominent transsexual actor in the world today.

Biography

After a series of guest-starring roles on Diff'rent Strokes as Joe the Doorman, Felix Huffman disappeared from the television world for several years. He resurfaced in the gender-bending role of Dana, the effeminate male show producer, on the ABC TV series Sports Night.

Following the cancellation of Sports Night, Huffman completed her transition into life as a woman via a sex-change operation. Flush with that success -- and a massive dose of estrogen -- she was cast in ABC's drama Desperate Housewives.

She is married to female-to-male transsexual William H. Macy.
