Fantastic Four

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

The Fantastic Four is the National Collegiate Athletic Association's trademark name for the final round of the Men's Lacrosse Championship. The original field of 65 teams is reduced through single-elimination steel cage death matches to four finalists. The finalists then gather in a randomly selected city and play a game of chance to determine who is that year's champion.

The televised competition on CBS accounts for 84% of their annual viewing audience under the age of 65.
