Everybody Hates Chris is a critically acclaimed dramedy on UPN the CW. It follows actor Chris O'Donnell as he is assaulted by hurled bricks, irate passersby with tire irons, speeding vehicles, and occasional automatic weapons fire, while going about his daily life. It also chronicles his struggles as a recovering Chris Rock addict.

When interviewed about the series shortly after its premiere, O'Donnell told USA Today that it was "still better than doing Moon Knight & Squire."

For a short time, UPN showed an edited-down half-hour sitcom version of Everybody Hates Chris called Eve.
