Easter Bunny

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

The Easter Bunny was a promotion developed by advertisers to try and drum up business in the time between Valentine's Day and the spring sweeps. They believed they could increase sales by showing pictures of a cute, harmless bunny who laid multicolored eggs and hid stuff from people. This didn't work, so the Easter Bunny was shelved and the previous promotion (involving the raising of the dead) was revived.

Thanks, Easter Bunny
