ESPNEWS
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Started in 1996 by the makers of ESPN, ESPNews was a radical attempt to broadcast scores and highlights to sports fans , before the games actually happened. Using top psychics and mediums, along with bootlegged copies of various John Madden video games, ESPNews tried to forecast scores, individual game performances and even weather conditions for sporting events across America. The rate of success was very low; in fact it was scientifically proven that a bunch of monkeys could have done a better job than ESPN's top psychic "analysts".
In late 2005, to conform with the rest of ESPN's programming, ESPNews switched to an all-poker format.
