Dragonball: SVU was an anime based on the award-winning Dragonball Z saga. The goal was to see what would have happened to the Dragonball storyline if the show's traditional pacifism were replaced by mind-numbing violence. The best television writers and producers from Tokyo and Hollywood were brought in to create this high-priced series, which had been scheduled to anchor NBC's Thursday night lineup. Unfortunately, after only one episode, the creative teams managed to destroy the entire Universe, effectively cancelling their own series. The single episode was never shown on American television but is occasionally seen on GSN.
