Disney Channel

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

The Disney Channel is a cable television network set up by former Disney CEO Michael Eisner for the purpose of showing family friendly programming depicting solid moral values. It does this by airing Korean cartoons loosely based on Disney DVDs, live action programs featuring scantily dressed pre-teen girls, and "Disney Channel Original Movies" featuring characters from the first two categories. Current Disney chairman Steve Jobs states that he sees "no reason to change the format", as it consistently gets more viewers than UPN or the WB ever did, combined.
