Dexter's Laboratory

Dexter's Laboratory, developed for the Cartoon Network by Genndy Tartakovsky, is an animated spin-off of the Showtime series Dexter, chronicling the early years of that series' titular mad scientist. Despite its controversial source material, the show's subject matter has been successfully sanitized for younger viewers; for example, in the cartoon version, victims of young Dexter's Nuclear Death Ray simply vanish in a puff of smoke, rather than wailing in unholy agony as every molecule of their body is brutally ripped apart.
