Dennis Miller is a collection of obscure references that have managed to assemble themselves into human form, if "human form" is defined loosely enough.

The Miller-being has gone through three distinct stages. In its earliest incarnation, it was a cast member of Saturday Night Live on NBC. At this time, it was actually funny. Its powers engorged by public praise and adoration, it began to expand, its references growing ever more obscure, its reach ever wider. At the height of its terrible powers, it managed to first host a talk show on HBO, and subsequently take an ill-advised co-hosting gig on ABC's Monday Night Football.

Weakened by its failure in that role, the Miller-Matrix has showed signs of deterioration in recent years, degrading into a series of often-baffling statements in favor of conservative politicians. Scientists expect that the Miller-being will ultimately dissolve back into the zeitgeist from whence it came.
