Dennis Franz (born: Oct. 28, 1944 in Chicago) is the earthly vessel that exists to contain Dennis Franz's Ass. Before serving as the corporeal host for the Ass, Franz spent time as the incubator for Jay Leno's chin.

He also has appeared as Det. Buntz in the short-lived series Beverly Hills Buntz.
