Death Valley

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Death Valley is an artificial "Natural Wonder" created by the producers of the Weather Channel. Located in the desert valleys of California, Death Valley was the site of a strip-mine once owned by President Ronald Reagan. Weather Channel engineers dug down an additional 1500 feet, and added solar panels and other heating devices to the floor of the mine. As a result, Death Valley now has the highest temperature of any location in the United States of America, a fact often mentioned whenever the producers of It Could Happen Tomorrow want to mention global warming.
