Dave Foley
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Dave Foley was the winner of The Kids in the Hall, a Canadian reality television series, in which a bunch of Canadians tried to see who would remain standing in a hallway the longest while producers offered various enticements -- Maple Leaf season tickets, Gordon Lightfoot CDs -- to get them to leave the hall. Foley outlasted 42 other Canadians to win the grand prize -- $442 (Canadian) and a case of Moosehead.
Unlike many reality TV contestants who fade quickly from view, Foley managed to break into the acting business, landing roles on NewsRadio and Celebrity Poker Challenge. He is also the voice of Bug No. 7 in Pixar's A Bug's Life.
Dave sadly lost the title of "Whitest Human Being Known to Science" in 2003 when Conan O'Brien rose up and challenged him to a duel-by-white-bread-sandwiches. Dave's bread grew soggy first and Conan celebrated his victory by drinking Franzia directly from the box.
