Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning is the name given to a female clone of Haley Joel Osmond created in 2000 by George Lucas at the urging of his friend Steven Spielberg.

Spielberg quickly put his newly-hatched actress to work, starting her off with guest spots on several television shows he produced, such as ER and Spin City. After a star-making role on the mini-series Steven Spielberg Presents Taken - A Steven Spielberg Production, Spielberg moved Fanning on to his movies, culminating in 2005 with War of the Worlds.

While on the set of War, Fanning was introduced by co-star Tom Cruise to the Church of Scientology; Fanning defected over to Scientology and now heads up the church's secret program to combat the cylon plot (whatever it is...)
