Cops was a short-lived half-hour dramedy that aired on Fox in 1989. It starred Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two wisecracking street-wise African-American cops who bent the rules and flaunted authority, yet had hearts of gold.

Cops is notable in the history of television as the only show to pair an African-American cop with another African-American cop.
