Colorado is a small state, boasting the largest population of extraterrestrial residents on the planet, mostly due to the secret military base NORAD (see Stargate: SG-1)

Residents of the state fall into 1 of 6 categories: Paranoid Ex-Californian, Retired New Yorker, Fleeing Mexican, Redneck, Native American, and Mountain Men. There is of course the debatable 7th category that makes up 2/3rd of the population, The Ski Bum; however Ski Bums, are migratory, and are in residence only 7-9 months of the year depending on snowfall.

Colorado, is the first place in the USA to outlaw Marijuana. Denver, Colorado, is the first place in the USA to Legalize Marijuana. Denver, Colorado, just outlawed smoking in any public building, including bars, and restaurants.

Colorado is also home to the Purple Mountains Majesty, The Colorado River, The Royal Gorge, South Park, and Red Rocks. There is NO Colorado City in Colorado; however there is a Colorado City in Utah.

Denver, Colorado, has less snow per-year, than Hollywood, L.A., and Death Valley combined. Your delusions of high snow fall come from the "high county", AKA the mountains. It can be snowing 10ft in Durango, and be a sunny 75 degrees in Denver. It is very likely that people who live on the eastern plains have seen more snow watching Everwood than they have in real life.
