Colonial House

Colonial House is a reality show airing on C-SPAN in which former contestants from Congress are allowed to compete for a return engagement by attempting to survive in an exact replica of a late-eighteenth century colonial legislature. Contestants compete in such challenges as "Escape From the Redcoats", "Distribute the Smallpox Blankets", and "Justify Slavery".

For cost reasons, the show is taped in the Canadian state of Maine. A spinoff, Colonial Senate, appears on C-SPAN2.
