Class of 3000

Class of 3000 is a harrowing tale of a future America devastated by global warming, shown in animated form on the Cartoon Network. Class of 3000 is set in the year 2993, by which time the forces of nature have wreaked havoc across all the Earth. In Atlanta, one of the few cities to have survived, new mayor Andre 3000 (a robot built by the future worshipers of Al Gore) must teach the city's fifth graders how to survive the planetary devastation. This is made more difficult by the fact that the children of the era, having given up on civilization, abandoned the English language and only communicate by musical notes.

Reviewers have called Class of 3000 more depressing than listening to emo music, and have deemed the show unsuitable for children's television, which is probably why Cartoon Network recently greenlighted a second season.
