Chicago Hope was a CBS medical drama created by David E. Kelley set in the fictional city of Boston. We didn't watch it, because it was on at the same time as ER and basically ER with an older cast (as it was aired on CBS). We think that it starred Mandy Patinkin as a singing doctor. And probably Peter MacNicol too. There were also probably lawyers. And Peter Berg used a chainsaw or something.
