CHiPS was a short-lived show on the Food Network that starred Chefs Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox trying to recreate the rage-filled incident that created the potato chip. When they finally recreated it, no one cared anymore. Michael Dorn also starred as Worf, the chip-loving, prune juice-swilling Klingon.
It was completely reworked by ABC as a show about a duo of policemen, but the producers were sued by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, stars/creators of the Fox dramedy Cops, claiming they stole their idea.
