Buy It Now

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Buy It Now was a proposed reality television series, which would have aired on ABC in Summer 2006. Co-sponsored by Ebay, the show was scheduled to air twice weekly. The first episode would have featured troubled families putting their most prized possessions up for auction on the Internet. In the second episode, which would have aired live, the results of the bidding would have been announced to the world. Unfortunately, Ebay backed out of the project and the show was cancelled before a single episode aired.

What's that, this actually happened? I guess ABC's lineup of summer replacement shows for 2006 weren't as good as everybody thought.
