Bullwinkle
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Bullwinkle D. Moose is America's most decorated member of the family Cervidae.
Born in Frostbite Falls, Minn., Bullwinkle and his longtime friend Rocket J. Squirrel were recruited by the CIA shortly after their graduation with bachelor's degrees (and several bachelorettes' phone numbers) from world-reknowned Wotsamatta University. Under the guise of traveling vaudeville comedians, the agents cleverly code-named Moose and Squirrel roamed the country in an ongoing effort to thwart covert Soviet sabotage. They tangled often with Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale, supposed liquor importers from the Soviet satellite republic of Pottsylvania, who were in fact elite agents of the KGB. Decorated many times over for their courage and resourcefulness, Bullwinkle and Rocky were finally celebrated for their heroism when President Ronald Reagan tore down the Berlin Wall with his bare hands and their case files were declassified.
In his later years, Bullwinkle overcame his publicity-shy nature to accept the starring role in the hit CBS series Northern Exposure.
