Bob Quigley

From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.

Bob Quigley is best known as the creator of the game show Hollywood Squares, no matter what Merrill Heatter says. He is also an infinite being, having done everything known to man. Seriously: He was the founder of the Robert Quigley Chewing Gum Company and the owner of the Chicago Cubs baseball team, and also owned a chain of hotels that would put Paris Hilton to the shame she so richly deserves. Also, a baseball stadium named after him, Quigley Field, was instigated in Chicago in the 1980s.

Quigley was fired from Heatter-Quigley productions in the late '70s on account of Heatter becoming too jealous. Today, Quigley remains frozen in an underground lair, though he can often be heard spouting Paul Lynde-type zingers when no one's looking.
