Ben Stiller
From TeeVeePedia, the Internet TV Encyclopedia.
Benjamin Stiller (born November 30, 1965 in New York City) is the vaguely simian-looking offspring of Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller. Stiller is known for his proturbing eyebrow ridge, his near-narcississtic regard of his own body, and his way of making people uncomfortable with his overwhelming, vaguely hostile brand of neediness. He will probably go down in history, with Hank Azaria, as the last actors anyone wanted to see nude during the film "Along Came Polly," also starring Jennifer Aniston.
A comedy veteran and SNL alumnus, Ben Stiller helmed a critically-acclaimed comedy show. In a move foreshadowing its treatment of groundbreaking, critically beloved comedy, Fox had already cancelled it.
The Ben Stiller Show had a remarkable talent bench, including a not-yet-embittered Janeane Garofalo, a not-yet-publicly-freaky Andy Dick and the dryly funny Bob Odenkirk. It's known for its U2-video-cum-Lucky Charms-ad and the recurring sketch Pretty White Kids With Problems.
Since his show's cancellation, Stiller had received widespread recognition for his pioneering work in the motion picture industry. He has appeared in over 200 films and television shows since 1994 while only performing 2 different characters: a neurotic and easily frazzled professional and a cartoonish dimwit often driven by all-consuming rage and bitterness. He first presented these characters in Reality Bites and Heavy Weights respectively. Experts believe that with the application of Stiller's techniques, by 2017, all movies will feature the same cast of characters.
Stiller is married to Christine Taylor. No, really.
